We are hosting a STEM Women Benelux Region Careers Event this September, sponsored by Booking.com!

On Wednesday 28^th September 2022, we will be running our Benelux Region STEM Careers Event, our third event of this kind for employers and attendees based in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.

Sponsored by Booking.com, this event will take place virtually on our events platform between noon and 4.30pm CEST. It will introduce students and recent graduates studying STEM subjects to employers in the Benelux Region. The event is perfect for attendees who identify as women or non-binary and are interested in starting a career in industry.

This inspiring event will allow attendees to virtually network with employers via webchat, voice, and video call, watch live presentations, take part in a panel session, and apply for exciting roles and opportunities.

Event Agenda

Noon – Event begins in the ‘Live Presentations’ area, with a welcome talk from STEM Women and our event sponsor Booking.com.

12.20pm – Panel discussion with women working in STEM related industries. Ask questions and gain a fascinating first-hand insight from inspiring panelists.

12:55pm – Live networking begins and continues until the event ends. Attendees can visit company stands, network with employers and search live jobs!

1:30pm – 4.30pm – Live employer insight talks begin and run until the event ends.

4:30pm – Event ends.

Our previous events

In November 2020, we hosted our very first event for attendees and employers based in the Netherlands. This event was virtual and saw over 275 attendees network with 7 employers, which included Liberty Global (Virgin Media), Edwards Vacuum, Optiver, Flow Traders, PwC, Mercury Engineering and IMC. Following the success of this first event, we expanded the event to cover the whole of the Benelux Region (Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg) in October 2021. The event almost doubled in size, with 615 students signing up to network with 13 employers!

For our general STEM events, we mainly attract students and graduates studying university courses including and related to science, mathematics, engineering, and technology. Below you can see the breakdown of the subjects studied by previous attendees at our Benelux Region events.

STEM Women Events

As well the Benelux Region Event, we are also running general STEM careers events for London, UK wide, and Ireland. Plus, we are also running 3 industry specific events for the UK. They will include a UK Engineering event, a UK Technology event, and a UK Financial Services event.
