About us

We introduce inspiring graduate employers to our STEM Women communities through graduate careers events, job board, sourcing and digital marketing services. We are proud to help contribute to a more diverse and inclusive STEM workforce of the future.

Who we are

Since 2018, we have been hosting networking and careers events for STEM students and recent graduates. We have become the market leader within this niche and growing sector, partnering with clients and universities based in the UK, Ireland, Germany, the Benelux Region, Australia, and New Zealand.

We are an established SME with 10 staff, and we work in a friendly, collaborative, and supportive environment. Our business is growing each year because of increased demand from our UK and overseas clients.

How it all started

The first STEM Women event took place in February 2018 at The London Transport Museum. At the time we were aware that a growing number of graduate recruiters were viewing diversity, and in particular gender diversity, as their main challenge. We wanted to enable these companies to meet with talented STEM students and to be able to present themselves in an authentic way. It was also important to ensure that our events challenged student preconceptions, and enabled the attendees to see and hear from female speakers who were successful in male dominated industries.

Growing our community

Our events became increasingly popular with students and employers. During 2018 and 2019 we held further events in London, Manchester, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol and Birmingham. Our 2020 and 2021 events moved online in response to the pandemic. In 2022 we ran z combination of virtual, in-person and hybrid careers events, and we launched a global careers portal that offers job hunters access to opportunities throughout the year, and a candidate sourcing services for employers looking to build diverse pipelines.

In 2023 we are hosting in-person events across the UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia and New Zealand as our STEM Women community continues to grow!
