For Universities & Schools

Find out about our work with universities, societies, and schools.

University partnerships:

STEM Women’s university partnerships help to create the future workforce of women in STEM through building communities, supporting students to develop their skills and confidence, and putting them in touch with STEM employers through our networking and careers events. By connecting with us, you’ll be helping your students to access to amazing opportunities within STEM industries at some of the most prominent organisations in science, tech, engineering and financial services amongst other sectors.

Currently, women make up just 26.9% of the STEM workforce in the UK.

How we work with university societies

STEM Women are delighted to partner with student societies to promote their events and outreach work. We aim to work with these organisations to help inspire the next generation of women in STEM. We are currently working with University College Dublin Women+ In STEM society! If you are part of a society interested in working with us, please fill out the contact form below.

Working with schools

STEM Women are delighted to partner with many schools in the UK to help bring Year 12 & 13 students to our STEM Women Apprenticeship Careers Events. Jodie Atterton (jodiea@stemwomen.com) is our School Liaison Manager and would be delighted to hear from you if you are interested in finding out more about what we do and how your students can get involved.

Student societies

We work closely with student societies at multiple universities.

Schools

We work with fantastic schools in the UK so Year 12 & 13 students can attend our free events.

Universities

We are greatful to have extensive relationships with many universities around the globe.

“The students were absolutely buzzing today about it all and had nothing but positive feedback. Genuinely one of the best networking events I’ve taken students to in my 15 years of teaching. So thank you again so so much, I look forward to attending future events!”

STEM Women Events

We host regular networking and careers events for STEM students and recent graduates who are looking to start their careers. Throughout the year we run multiple STEM careers events covering different locations. We cover a range of locations throughout the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Australia. Our STEM Women careers events are completely free for students to attend, giving them access to exclusive networking opportunities. Our events are the perfect opportunity for your students to learn more about different industries, grow their networks, research job opportunities and apply for jobs, internships, and placements.
