STEM Women at the AAGE

Nov 08, 2023 Industry News 3 minutes read

The STEM Women team were delighted to be able to attend the AAGE Conference in Sydney last month. The AAGE (Australian Association of Graduate Employers) is the industry body representing organisations that recruit and develop Australian graduates. Their annual conference is a fantastic opportunity for these organisations to come together to harness our collective skills and advance the early careers profession.

Proud Social Evening Sponsor

The conference ran from 25th – 27th October at the Hilton, Sydney. This was the second time that STEM Women have been in attendance at the conference, having sponsored the Gala Dinner in 2022. This year, we were proud to be Social Evening Sponsor, providing drinks and canapes for attendees at this engaging networking opportunity.

Our representatives were Lauren Jenkins, Event Sales Manager, and Ruby Ashcroft, Sales Executive. Lauren and Ruby set up a fantastic company stand to represent STEM Women, complete with branded giveaways such as tote bags and drinks coolers. They also ran a competition which kept visitors to the stall entertained!

Lauren said ‘We have had an incredible time at the AAGE conference this year. We spoke with over 100 companies and the highlight was seeing familiar faces from last year, as well as meeting new connections. We also loved attending the Gala Dinner, which was a lot of fun!’
