STEM Women Sponsor the AAGE Conference 2024 Gala Dinner

The STEM Women team were delighted to return to the AAGE Conference in Melbourne last month. The AAGE (Australian Association of Graduate Employers) is the industry body representing organisations that recruit and develop Australian graduates. Their annual conference is a fantastic opportunity for these organisations to come together to harness collective skills and advance the early careers profession.

The conference ran from 30^th October – 1^st November at the Crown, Melbourne. This was the third time that STEM Women have been in attendance at the conference, having sponsored the Gala Dinner in 2022 and the Social Evening in 2023. This year, we were proud to be Gala Dinner and Lanyard Sponsors.

Our representatives were Aldana Zenker, Business Development Account Manager, and Ruby Ashcroft, Business Development Executive. Aldana and Ruby set up a fantastic company booth to represent STEM Women, complete with branded giveaways.

At the end of day one the team attended the social evening at the Crown which provided an additional opportunity to get to know the other exhibitors and delegates.

The Gala dinner, sponsored by STEM Women,  took place on the evening of the second day, with networking and awards recognising talent in graduate recruitment. Our Halloween decorations really added to the fun atmosphere of the evening!

Ruby Ashcroft said: “The AAGE was a fantastic opportunity to make connections in across early careers and Higher Education, and gain insights into key trends, especially around diversity and supporting women in STEM. We loved meeting everyone and hearing about the unique challenges and goals within each organisation—it’s always inspiring to see such enthusiasm for creating inclusive opportunities for graduates. It really got us excited to bring this energy into our upcoming events across Australia and support employers in their diversity goals!”

STEM Women Australia Roadshow 2025

STEM Women were excited to let attendees know about our upcoming student and graduate recruitment events taking place in Australia in March and April 2025:

• Perth: at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on Monday March 17^th.
• Sydney: at ICC Sydney on Friday, March 21^st.
• Melbourne: at the Crown Resort on Tuesday March 25^th.
• Brisbane: at Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Monday March 31^st.
• **New** Adelaide: at Adelaide Convention Center on Wednesday April 2^nd.

Having run successful events in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth earlier this year, we are delighted to add a brand new location to our 2025 schedule.
