Event Review: Amsterdam STEM Women Graduate Careers Event

STEM Women returned to Amsterdam for the first time this year to help Amsterdam’s STEM students and graduates discover career opportunities, network with top employers and get expert career advice during a productive afternoon at the Mövenpick Hotel in Amsterdam City Centre. Over 200 student and graduate attendees came to meet 16 exhibitors.

STEM Women were proud to host 16 employer exhibitors in Amsterdam to provide the eager students and graduates with their next opportunities, these exhibitors included:

Networking & new connections

The productive afternoon provided the ideal networking space for students and graduates to approach exhibitor booths, meet the employers, and find out about the opportunities on offer, such as graduate schemes, internships and placements.

As the employers and representatives offered expert career advice throughout the afternoon to the students and graduates, the employers were able to share with the attendees the kind of schemes and opportunities that they offer to women in STEM disciplines to advance their early careers. One employer labelled the event a “great network experience and great opportunity to connect with qualified women”.
