Amsterdam STEM Women Graduate Careers Events

We have organised five in-person STEM Women Graduate Careers Events in Amsterdam since 2022.

We continue to host two annual events in Amsterdam. Read on to find out more about our past events, and what to expect if you join us at one in future.

Talented attendees:

1,179 women studying a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) degree at university have attended one of our in-person events in Amsterdam. Most attendees had the right to work in the Netherlands and the majority have been Dutch speaking.

Our attendees are most commonly studying for their degrees at:

• Delft University of Technology
• Erasmus University Rotterdam
• Leiden University
• Metropolitan Analysis, Design and Engineering (MADE)
• University of Amsterdam
• Utrecht University
• Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam
• Wageningen University & Research

Exhibitors:

71 employers have exhibited with us at one of our in-person Amsterdam events since 2022. These fantastic companies exhibited to promote their internships, placements, and graduate roles to our attendees. Many of our Amsterdam exhibitors have returned year on year.

Our in-person event exhibitors have included:

Countless women have discovered new careers at our events and many leave feeling inspired having chatted to employers at their stands. Crucially, many have since gone on to apply for and secure roles with our exhibitors.

We have met many women who attended our event as a student and then returned as a company representative the following year! It’s great to see them inspire the next generation of talented women.

Netherlands & Benelux Virtual Events 2020 – 2022:

We have also ran three virtual events over the years which have encompassed Amsterdam including our:

• STEM Women Virtual Netherlands Graduate Careers Event – 12^th November 2020
• STEM Women Virtual Benelux Graduate Careers Event – 27^th October 2021
• STEM Women Virtual Benelux Graduate Careers Event – 28^th September 2022

These virtual events were a great way for students to connect with graduate employers during the COVID-19 pandemic, which prevented in-person events. Hundreds of employers met thousands of attendees at our virtual events.

Our In-Person Amsterdam Events:

In 2023 we were ready to launch our first in-person event in the Netherlands, and our team spread the word about our event to employers and students across Amsterdam.

Our sourcing team work extensively with local universities and societies as part of our sourcing outreach, ensuring talented attendees on the day.

Monday 6^th November 2023:

We were delighted to run our first in-person event in Amsterdam in November 2023. 18 top graduate employers met with 365 talented attendees at our first event, hosted in Mövenpick Hotel in Amsterdam City Centre. The hotel was ideal to host our event as it is easily accessible for employers and students and has excellent spaces for our careers fair set up. We continue to use Mövenpick Hotel as our event venue in Amsterdam to this day!

Employers arrived and enjoyed their lunch before the event began and continued into the afternoon. The networking space was full of exciting conversation throughout the day, with attendees making new connections, chatting to recruiters, discovering career opportunities, and making the most of this fantastic networking experience!

Friday 24^th May 2024:

10 outstanding graduate employers joined us for our second in-person Amsterdam event! They met with 176 talented women studying STEM related degrees at universities across Amsterdam.

Attendees were able to network with employers from a wide range of STEM-related industries at this event, including technology, engineering, banking, wealth management, consulting, and manufacturing.

Monday 21^st October 2024:

Our 2024 autumn event attracted 27 exhibiting employers and 187 student and graduate attendees! Our highly targeted attendees discovered a mix of companies at the event, from big corporations they had heard about before, to smaller companies they were discovering for the first time.

Attendees were able to network with employers from a wide range of STEM-related industries, including science, engineering, computer science, data, cyber security, mathematics, and more!

Friday 7^th March 2025:

Our March events in Amsterdam are always a favourite for our team! A bright and sunny Friday afternoon in the city was a fantastic backdrop for our event.

210 attendees networked with 16 top employers during another productive afternoon at the Mövenpick Hotel in Amsterdam City Centre.

Thursday 2^nd October 2025:

In October 2025, we were back in Amsterdam for our annual autumn event.

250 attendees networked with 18 incredible graduate employers. Exhibitor stands stayed busy throughout the afternoon (we stagger the ticket times to ensure an even flow of attendees)!

2026 Events:

We are set to run another two Amsterdam events in 2026!  Employers and attendees will be able to sign-up via our website, and this blog will also be updated to show you the full details as they are announced.

Our next event will be on Tuesday 3^rd March 2026 at Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre. Employers can expect to meet hundreds of talented women studying STEM degrees.
