Our Dublin event reached its highest ever attendance of 572 student and graduate attendees, and our London event attracted 906 attendees, the highest turn out we’ve seen at any STEM Women event!

A Successful Season

We are proud to bring together thousands of students and graduates around the UK, Ireland and Amsterdam to meet STEM employers, boost employability and make space for them in STEM environments. A huge thank you to our employers who are eager to connect with our STEM Women network who continue showing up to support diversity and inclusivity in their workplaces and meet the best female STEM talent of the next generation!

Our events nurture insightful conversations and meaningful networking opportunities, this year’s events once again demonstrated the strength, ambition and diversity of women pursuing careers across STEM industries.

Edinburgh: Opportunities in Scotland’s Capital

Our next event was held in Edinburgh on 8th October 2025, where we welcomed 137 students and graduates to meet 7 employers. The event space was the ideal environment for an afternoon of valuable conversations and building professional networks for attendees looking for early careers opportunities.

Glasgow: Discovering STEM talent in Scotland

On Thursday 9th October, the STEM Women team were in Glasgow, Scotland, where 11 exhibitors exhibited with a company stand to meet 204 attendees. Students & graduates from STEM disciplines at Glasgow universities such as University of Glasgow, Glasgow Caledonian University and University of Strathclyde arrived throughout the afternoon to meet the employers.

During the event, exhibitors connected with enthusiastic students keen to learn more about graduate pathways, internship programmes and the skills employers look for in early-career STEM professionals.

Dublin: A Busy Hub of STEM Talent in Ireland

The next event was held in Dublin, Ireland, where a staggering 572 attendees arrived at the Convention Centre Dublin to meet 35 employers, all offering opportunities for the attendees to explore! Our high turnout kept conversations flowing throughout the afternoon, as students were provided the ideal space to approach employers with questions about opportunities, advice, applications and more.

Our popular Dublin event is held twice annually, and we were excited to return this Autumn to yet again provide attendees the chance to take strides in STEM spaces and for employers to diversify their talent pipelines by meeting Dublin’s top women in STEM.

London: STEM Sell-Out at our Flagship Event!

At our London event on 16th October 2026, we saw strongest engagement from students eager to expand their professional networks and gain insight into industry careers. We were pleased to see our London event reach sell out as so many STEM students and graduates were excited to attend our Autumn London event. Held at the QEII Centre in the UK’s capital, we welcomed an all-time STEM Women record of 906 attendees to meet 48 employers.

We work extensively with local universities in London to ensure high quality attendees on the day, and this was the highest attendee turnout we have ever had in the history of STEM Women.

In Autumn 2o25, we held 2 careers events in Manchester, one for Apprentice level opportunities, and one for opportunities at the graduate level.

Manchester Apprenticeship: 20th October 2026

This event was aimed at year 12 and 13 school and college students in Manchester who are exploring apprenticeships in STEM fields. 150 school and college students arrived to meet representitives and employers from 16 companies in Manchester. Held at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester city centre, the event was easy to access for schools in the local area. The event included talks for the students to help them build confidence and learn about taking the first steps for their early career journeys.

Manchester Graduate: 27th October 2026

The Manchester graduate careers event saw 365 student & graduate attendees and 26 exhibiting companies gather at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester city centre to spend an afternoon of networking and making new connections. A diverse group of attendees representing disciplines including engineering, computer science, mathematics and technology came to the event to speak face-to-face with employers, learning what they’re looking for, recieving guidance on applications and and skills that best help career development at the graduate stage. Attendees also explored opportunities on offer from employers such as internships, graduate schemes, placements and jobs.

Birmingham: Final In-Person Event of the Season

Our final in-person event of the Autumn season was in Birmingham. This graduate careers event welcomed 260 student and graduate attendees to meet 16 exhibitors offering opportunities to top STEM talent in Birmingham. Throughout the afternoon, meaningful conversations took place around career pathways, industry trends and the exciting possibilities available to students graduating with STEM degrees. This event targets students and graduates from universities in and around Birmingham, including University of Birmingham.

UK-Wide Virtual Careers Event

We closed our season with a UK-Wide careers event for students to easily attend from the comfort of home. This allowed them to explore nationwide opportunities, its especially useful for those that were unable to attend one of our in-person events and those open to relocation, so they can meet and chat with employers virtually to kickstart their early career search. The virtual event hosted 409 attendees from around the UK and 11 employers that had opportunities to offer. The event allowed employers to learn about students & graduates from their profiles, and search for candidates that matched their criteria, filtering by degree course and geographical preference for work.

Attendees are able to watch live talks on the platform, then spend the rest of the session exploring through different company booths, looking through their brochures, available jobs, videos and company info. They can then start a virtual live chat with company representatives to ask any questions they may have, and even progress to video chat. They can also head to the job board to apply directly for jobs that are on offer, filtering by industry and location. The user friendly platforms allows for easy navigation for attendees and exhibitors and allows an easy access option for hundreds of women in STEM across the UK.
