Graduate Events in the North East

Each year, STEM women host a number of events in the North East for female students and graduates who are looking to jump-start their career in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.  Generally, our North East graduate fairs for women are hosted in Newcastle, though if you’re travelling from outside of the city, coaches will be available from both Durham and Sunderland, and have been described by past attendees as inspiring and electric.

What can I expect from STEM Women’s graduate fair in the North East?

Female STEM students are invited to join hundreds of other talented women at our North East graduate fairs and meet with some of the UK’s biggest graduate employers, each promoting gender diversity in the industry and keen to invest in the next generation of female employees.

Our events in the North East give attendees to immerse themselves in networking sessions with employers, engage in panel discussions where you will have the chance to put your questions directly to the companies themselves and hear from inspirational, keynote speakers within the STEM industry. At past events, employers have included huge names such as; HSBC, Caterpillar and First Group – and many students have been fast-tracked to assessment days and offered graduate roles following our exclusive networking sessions.

Both students and employers will also enjoy a buffet lunch before networking and throughout the afternoon.
