This event is targeted towards people who identify as female and are studying, or recently graduated from, a STEM related course at university.

Who attends?

STEM Women events are aimed at attendees who are studying or have recently graduated from a STEM related course at university, are eligible to work without requiring a visa or sponsorship, and are looking for internships, placements or graduate careers. Courses most commonly studied by event attendees include Computer Science, Data and Mathematics, Business and Finance, Physical Sciences, Engineering, and Earth and Life Sciences.

Setting up your stand

The VFairs platform is user-friendly, offering step-by-step guidance on how to populate your stall, display your company information and add your jobs.

Packages

The Basic Package provides you with a virtual company stall and access for 3 representatives. You can also list 1 job on the job board. Upgrade to a Data Package to receive academic and contact information for everyone who signed up for the event. Includes 5 reps and 5 job listings. STEM Women Account Manager, Aldana Zenker, can help you decide which package is best for you.

Speaker Sessions

Speaker, Speaker with Panel and Sponsor packages are also available at all online events. Speaker Packages allow you to deliver a 10 minute insight talk to highlight your company. There is also an option to take part in a 30 minute panel discussion. Event sponsorship is also available - contact our Sales team to discuss.

Once you have registered, you can sit back and relax - we'll send you all the information you need including an exhibitor list showing which employers will be there. You will receive the link to access the event at least 24 hours before the event starts.

Who Can Attend?

STEM Women events are perfect for people who are studying, or recently graduated from, a STEM related course at university and are considering different career opportunities. Our events are aimed at students and graduates who are permanently eligible to work in the UK and who are women or non-binary, but they are inclusive events open to all.

Networking

Attendees will meet employers from a broad range of different STEM-related industries such as science, technology, software, data and analytics, pharmaceuticals, energy, engineering, construction, consultancy and financial services. We'll let you know who will be attending in advance of the event.

Insight Talks

Head to the virtual theatre to hear insight talks from successful role models in STEM who'll share their tips and advice. From recent graduates to CEOs to hiring managers, speakers will share inspirational and informative talks and presentations with attendees. Ask questions via the Q&A function.

Do the companies attending offer sponsorship?

The majority of exhibitors will not be able to provide sponsorship and will require applicants to be permanently eligible to work in the UK. We would not recommend attending this event if you are seeking sponsorship.
