Ready to grow your potential? Join us as a Strategy Graduate and be brave, be real, and join a community of graduates just like you. Spend time understanding our business, leaving a lasting impact, all while widening your skills and earning £35,000, as well as a £2,000 welcome bonus.
Make things happen
Our graduate scheme lasts two years with the opportunity to work across a variety of strategic projects that touch all areas of the business including corporate strategy, commercial strategy, strategic planning and mergers & acquisitions.
You will join the central strategy team that takes the lead in strategy formulation and identifies ways to achieve long-term goals, working with partners across our business and beyond.
You could be evaluating the future shape of the industry, assessing the launch of new major products, developing a plan to invest in the future of our network, or investigating the pros and cons of acquiring another business. No two projects will be the same, but you will always be supported and mentored to develop your own leadership style, using your own passions and strengths. Day-to-day responsibilities you could get involved in include:
- Supporting the creation of board-level presentations and proposals
- Modelling and forecasting growth to establish commercial business cases
- Identifying and formulating business plans to address key strategic opportunities
- Conducting analysis of market trends, competitors and potential disruption
We’re a flexible-first organisation because we believe people do their best work with choice and clarity. To support meaningful collaboration, we ask everyone to connect in person at least eight days a month – whether that’s in the office, volunteering days, or away days. What matters is making those moments together really count.
Bring your authentic self
We’re brave, and we want to see confident Graduates who are comfortable showcasing their analytical skills. We’re real – we want to see how you think about ambiguous business problems and the action you take to solve them and how you digest large amounts of information to develop clear insights and actionable recommendations. We’re together, so it’s important you can use your communication skills to effectively engage with all audiences, including senior leaders. This role will have you working on a wide range of projects, so you should be adaptable and capable of managing and prioritising your workload. Other qualities we’d love to see include:
- Motivation
- Resilience
- Growth mindset
You must have a 2:1 or above. But it doesn’t matter what subject – we’re more interested in your qualities than your specific qualifications.
With inclusivity at our hearts, we’re 100% committed to having a workforce that represents every part of our society, so we’re keen to hear from candidates of all backgrounds and circumstances. The only barrier to applying would be if you didn’t have the right to work in the UK and were unable to obtain it without our support.
