About this event

If you’re curious about where your STEM degree could take you, this is your chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at one of the world’s leading financial institutions.

Mizuho, a leading financial services company, is hosting an exclusive Insight Event in London, giving you the opportunity to meet the team, hear from graduates and employees from different departments.

Learn more about their paid Summer Internship Programme, which will run for 10 weeks from June 2027. During the internship you will receive a salary of £45-55k pro rata and will be considered for a permanent graduate position starting September 2028.

This event is for students who:

  • Are studying a STEM related course (inclusive of Finance, Economics etc.) and identify as a woman or non-binary.
  • Are in their penultimate year of study and available to start a 10 week internship in June 2027.
  • Are curious about working within the Financial Services Sector (no previous finance experience needed!)
  • Will be available for permanent employment from September 2028 (without requiring visa sponsorship).
  • Whether you’ve already got your sights set on finance or you’re just exploring what’s possible beyond the traditional STEM career path, this is a great opportunity to see how your skills could fit into the industry.

  • Learn about internship opportunities across Finance & Accounting, Internal Auditing, IT Development, IT Business Analysis, Risk, Global Markets & Banking

There are 2 available time slots, morning or afternoon. Both sessions are identical, so you'll have the same experience regardless of which you attend. The sessions run from 10:00am–11:30am or 1:00pm–2:30pm, and we ask that you stay for the full 90-minute session.

Who Can Attend?

Penultimate year STEM (including Finance, Economics, etc.) who identify as a woman or non-binary, available for permanent employment from September 2028 without requiring visa sponsorship.

Networking

Attendees will be able to connect with MIZUHO employees across hiring departments including: Finance & Accounting, Internal Auditing, IT Development, IT Business Analysis, Risk, Global Markets & Banking. Network with graduates & HR to discuss their experiences and the application process.

Please note, completing this application does not guarantee an event ticket. Your application will be assessed, and if you fit Mizuho’s Internship eligibility, you will be sent a private Eventbrite link to download your ticket for the event. This event is invite only based on candidate eligibility.
