Our ICT team uniquely combines deep insurance consulting expertise with innovative technology to develop cutting-edge solutions for insurance companies worldwide. Across Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life Insurance, we deliver projects that span client delivery, research and product development. In P&C, our work includes reserving, capital, and pricing, as well as broader areas such as data science, process transformation, risk and regulatory, climate, exposure management, underwriting, and claims analytics. In Life Insurance, we cover decumulation, accumulation, protection, reinsurance, finance transformation, private assets capital management, regulatory and reporting, and risk & climate/ESG.

Responsibilities:
Working with and learning from some of the market’s leading experts, you’ll become part of multiple, varied client projects from day one. You’ll be allocated a place in either our P&C or Life Insurance team, with full support available for those pursuing actuarial qualifications through the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
In this role, you will:
- Use actuarial and statistical modelling techniques to analyse data and produce insightful results for clients
- Present your analysis both internally and to clients
- Collaborate with colleagues in the UK and globally to tackle real-world actuarial problems
- Build your core technical and consulting skills through hands-on experience and team support
- Learn and apply our proprietary insurance technology solutions, which are used widely by the insurance market
- Grow through structured early-career training and ongoing learning from subject matter experts in the team
Requirements:

- Highly numerate and analytical, with the ability to solve complex and challenging commercial problems using innovative and proportionate approaches
- A clear and confident communicator who can make complicated ideas understandable and engaging for a range of audiences
- Personable, approachable and motivated to work as part of a supportive team
- Someone with an interest in and aptitude for learning and developing new ideas
- At least 2:1 degree-qualified in:
- a numerate discipline
or
- a non-numerate discipline plus an A or B at A-Level Maths.

Workstyles:
We believe in the value of in-person learning at this early stage of your career, so you’ll be expected to come into the office at least four days a week. You’ll be allocated to either the P&C or Life team and based in our London, Reigate or Cambridge office. Your office location will be agreed with you during the onboarding process. Regardless of your allocated office, you may be expected to travel to other WTW offices for team or client meetings.
