STEM Women Whitepaper

At STEM Women, we are passionate about addressing the gender imbalance in STEM related industries. We have compiled an in-depth Whitepaper that explores students’ and graduates’ attitudes towards gender issues that are prevalent within science, technology and engineering sectors (STEM).

Understanding the Gender Imbalance in STEM

As part of our mission to address the gender imbalance in STEM, we have compiled a whitepaper report for four years running with the aim of better understanding why there are less women working in industries like science, technology and engineering. Our report works towards learning more about gender and generational differences surrounding perceptions and attitudes of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). In addition to STEM-related and gender focused topics, the data investigates issues surrounding career confidence, motivations behind accepting and declining job offers, and issues surrounding imposter syndrome.
