We are looking for an enthusiastic Product Engineer to join our team specializing in engineering for our Power Systems Business Segment in Daventry. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence on Summer 2026.
External Qualifications and Competencies
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Support with active projects to improve the quality of the engines.
- Lead and support product problem solving and product change requests for current product engine support.
- Liaise and work with the service team in failure investigations.
- Maintain the lead value engineering projects to improve the profitability of the company.
- Support with new engine projects in general engineering tasks when required.
- Opportunities to design and analyze new engine parts.
Additional Responsibilities Unique to this Position
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- In the process of completing a degree with a 12-month placement year in mechanical, automotive, aeronautical engineering or relevant STEM degrees.
- Ability to communicate both written and orally on work tasks.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team (with support as required)
- Confidence in office work environment and working on MS office (PowerPoint and Excel)
