STEM Women UK and London Hybrid Careers Event – Exhibitor Guide

Hybrid careers event where employers can network with talented STEM students in-person and online.

Employers can list jobs, deliver talks and engage with students via webchat/video.

Overview

STEM Women has held 50 inspiring events for STEM students and graduate employers since 2018. We have introduced STEM students and recent graduates to 300+ exhibiting companies during this time.

During our events, attendees will be able to hear first-hand accounts from women working in various roles, watch a live Q&A, network with hiring managers and apply for jobs on the platform!

Previous events

We have run 19 in-person events during 2018 and 2019 in venues across the UK and Ireland. In 2020, 2021, and 2022, we hosted a further 31 virtual events on our platform. Our June 2022 event will be the first time that STEM Women have combined online and in-person events.

Event begins in the ‘Live Presentations’ area, a selection of employer insight talks and a Q&A session.

12:15 pm

Online networking begins and continues until the event ends.

1:30 pm

First speaker session ends in the ‘Live Presentations’ area, students can continue networking online.

2:00 - 3:30 pm

Second speaker session starts.

4:30 pm

Event end.

Networking from 12:55 – 4:30 pm

Network live with our exhibitors at their stalls any time from 12:55pm onwards until the end of the event. Browse stalls, live chat with company reps and apply for jobs and internships on our platform. Prior to the event you can pre-book video slots and create your own agenda for the day.

Event begins in the ‘Live Presentations’ area with a welcome talk from STEM Women, our event sponsor, and a series of employer talks during the first speaker session.

1:30 pm

First speaker session ends and all students network in the main hall.

2:00 - 3:30 pm

Second speaker sessions starts. Students can continue networking in the main hall.

4:30 pm

Our lowest tier package is the basic which includes all the essentials a company will need to exhibit at a STEM Women Event.

Create a company profile, upload video and list job vacancies within our event portal.

Engage with attendees that visit your portal through webchat, voice and video calls.

Actively search the event participants and message target attendees.

List up to three job roles on your company stall.

Have up to three representatives on your stall to engage with the students.

Premium Package

Next is the premium package, it offers employers exclusive access to attendee data that can help boost recruitment marketing opportunities.

Following the event you will receive a password protected spreadsheet containing the course information and contact details for students and graduates that have consented for their information to be passed onto employers.

Speaker Package

One of the most popular packages with exhibitors is the speaker. It has proven to be one of the best ways for companies to get positive exposure and attract more attendees to their stands.

All the benefits of our “Premium Package”.

Your company will be assigned a speaker slot, and can run a webinar chat or deliver a presentation on a topic of your choice.
A representative from your company will also be invited to take part in a panel discussion.

Sponsor Package

This is the highest tier and allows companies to really make the most of a STEM Women virtual event by becoming the most prominent employer at the event.

All the benefits of our “Speaker Package”.

Your company will be listed as an event sponsor on all event related marketing.

Opportunity to address the entire event audience and introduce your company as the event sponsor during the welcome talk.

Our sourcing team will work with you to ensure that a high number of the attendees meet your specific requirements.

Prior to the event we send a pre-event reminder to all attendees and this would include a message from the sponsor along with a call to action.
