We are currently looking to recruit a Technical - Management Trainee to join our team in Farnborough. As a Technical Trainee you will be directly involved in the technical management of construction projects. There are a number of different disciplines including Design, Mechanical & Electrical and Planning. Your career is all about managing the detailed design and planning of projects. This will include contributing to tender and contract documents, design drawings and programmes of work, identifying risks, and assisting with the successful delivery of our projects.

Our Management Trainees come from diverse backgrounds and qualification routes. We welcome all applications: from school, college or university or through building trades backgrounds or other relevant work experience. All that we ask is that you have a passion for building a career in construction. The programme will give you a great foundation; you will get exposure to all areas of our business to develop your understanding of the construction business as a whole not just your chosen discipline. The length of your programme will depend on your entry route, generally between two and four years. On successful completion of the training programme you will be positively supported to complete a professional qualification such as CIOB.

Essential and desirable criteria

The ideal candidate:

  • 12 months relevant work or industry experience
  • Working towards appropriate professional membership
