Production Engineer

Durham Magneto Optics Ltd is a small, friendly, growing, high-technology company located close to Cambridge. We specialise in the design and manufacture of advanced scientific instrumentation for use by scientists and engineers performing research in nanotechnology, optics, microelectronics, biotechnology and advanced materials. We were founded in 2002 as a spin-out from the Physics Department of Durham University. We currently have eleven employees, 5 of whom hold PhDs. Our instruments are used by leading laboratories across the world and include magneto-optical instruments for measuring magnetic properties of nanostructures using the Magneto Optical Kerr Effect (MOKE) and direct-write photolithography tools for fabricating microstructures in an R&D or small volume production environment.
