We’re proud to be the nation’s largest owner and operator of gas distribution networks. Our 6,000 colleagues, working across four gas networks, keep the energy flowing to over 12 million homes and businesses. That’s half of the UK we keep safe and warm. 24/7. 365 days a year. For the past 200 years.

We’re super powered up about what our future holds and that’s where you come in. As a member of our Engineering Graduate Programme, you’ll support our growth and innovation and help us to create better, safer tomorrows, today. With us you’ll start your career with real purpose and direction and feel genuinely proud about what you do.

About our Engineering Graduate Programme

From day one, you’ll become part of the team and see first-hand what it’s like to be at the heart of our business. We’ve carefully tailored our programme to support you in achieving your potential as an engineer of the future.

Throughout your 25-month programme, you’ll navigate through four six-month placements. Placements that will technically, professionally and personally challenge you and help to build the skills and experience you need to be the very best you can be.

We’ll give you the freedom to aspire to each of your placements and first post role which means you’ll have the opportunity to influence where in the business you complete your placements and enable you to shape your own career!

You’ll receive training from our expert trainers and be supported by a dedicated programme manager, business mentor and line manager. You will play a vital role in shaping the future role of gas and how we establish ourselves at the forefront of sustainable energy, not only through your placements but also through a Graduate owned 12-month project.
